A Day on the Mayflower
Today students boarded the Mayflower and learned all about the Pilgrims and the importance of the Mayflower Compact to American History. It was a little uncomfortable, a little wet, and at times it seemed like forever for land to be spotted in the distance. But, the Elk Meadows Pilgrims did spot land, signed their own Mayflower Compact, and couldn't wait until the scouts had found a safe place to land. Ask your student about what happened today and what they learned.
