Mealworm Condo

You will need a mealworm condo for Monday's science activity.

Find a small plastic container (or something like it) with a lid and airholes for the mealworm.

Put bran flakes or uncooked plain oatmeal in the bottom. You may also want to put a piece of egg carton, toilet paper tube, or paper towel roll in your condo.

They will also need a source of water. You'll need an apple slice, potato slice, or piece of carrot.

If you can bring a whole apple, we are using apples for another activity and that would help out. Try to bring a different variety of apple- Fuji, Gala, etc.

A mealworm is NOT a worm. You do NOT need to dig in the ground to find one. I will give you one in class.

This is going to be FUN!!!
